Update from Italy

Here's some pics of my uros, the thomasi's were hidden so no pics of them
Please reply in french i can understand it well, but it's too hard for me to write!

I have the most of them since they were few weeks old babies so if they breed this year (beside U.a.nigriventris, the others just reached safe breeding size this year) it will be the biggest satisfaction for me.

As tu essayé le sexage par transparence avec ta posssible femelle U.a. acanthinura CB 2010 ? (Même technique que pour sexer les Tympanocryptis tetraporophora, j'ai l'impression que certains éleveurs d'Uros commencent à être convaincu par cette méthode....... )

Tu as eu plus de "chance" que moi avec tes U. geyri de chez Olivier, tu as 2 femelles.. Je lui avais pris 2 geyri de 2010, mais 2 mâles....Quoi qu'il en soit, ils sont justes magnifiques

Quelle est la taille de ton terrarium pour tes 1.2 U. ornata ? Tu utilises une Solar Raptor 50 W spot avec en complément un spot halogène de quelle puissance ?

at this age i can sex this acanthinura with regoular tecniques, but i don't handle them very often so i just have to wait next time to know the sex(maybe i ll make a post so you can help me),plus i do not have a proper light to use so I always sexed my Tympanocryptis looking at body shape and femoral phores and it worked well..
With Olivier's geyri i had a too good chance! 3 females on 3 babies, then i had to swap one of the ladies with a male of a friend (also from Olivier) to make a trio.

The ornata terrium is 1x1m, i have a 35wSR,a 50w halogen bulb GU10 for heat and a t5neon plus a led strip to have more light
